Is the 6% Commission Era Really Over? YES!
Yes. Introducing my $5,495 Full Service Flat-Fee Listing Package
George Sykes, Managing Broker with Worth Clark Realty has some secret weapons, the Wildfire CityPages, years of business experience and tuned systems. These tools offer a straightforward, full-service real estate listing for a fixed $5,495 flat fee on Illinois listings. This is not a discount or limited service. It is the same professional representation you expect from a traditional brokerage, just at a fair, predictable price.
Why a flat fee?
The work to sell a home does not change dramatically based on price. Whether your home is worth $100,000 or $600,000, the contract, marketing, showings, negotiations, and closing process are largely the same. Upgraded countertops or a finished basement do not significantly increase my time or costs. I know my processes, I know my expenses, and I believe in transparent pricing.
Example savings
On a $500,000 home, a traditional 3% listing commission would be $15,000. With my flat fee, you pay $5,495 and save $9,505. Those savings stay in your pocket for your next move, renovations, or whatever you choose.
Full service included
You receive everything you would from any top agent:
- Professional photography and marketing
- Full MLS listing and syndication to major sites
- Expert pricing guidance and comparable analysis
- Contract preparation, negotiations, and closing coordination
- Unlimited support and communication throughout the process
I also offer unique advantages no other agent can match, including prominent featuring across the CityPages network reaching thousands of local residents daily.
FSBO assistance option
If you prefer to work finding a buyer while listed, (FSBO), I have a flexible FSBO support package available.
Commission landscape has changed
Recent industry shifts have ended the era of 6% commissions. Sellers and buyers now negotiate fees openly. My flat-fee model is a direct response: fair compensation for the work performed, with substantial savings passed to you. As of this post, sellers pay listing agent commissions and buyers pay buyer agent commissions. But, buyers may ask for concessions to pay their side of the commission. Let's discuss.
